About This Project
This renovation served returning clients — an elderly couple — transforming their home from its original 1980s aesthetic. The spiraling staircase was repositioned to serve as the home's focal point.
The kitchen was reconfigured to incorporate a walk-in pantry, while walls were removed to create an expansive great room suited for living and entertaining. The modernization included marble flooring, an 18-foot iron-clad front door, designer crystal lighting, Anderson windows, cast-stone fireplace mantels, and built-in mahogany cabinetry.
Despite budgetary limitations, the completed project achieved a bright and airy home — modernized for the clients' enjoyment while retaining a touch of nostalgia from their grandparents' era.
